Ron Scheidt
The Scheidt Group

Ron Scheidt, founder of The Scheidt Group, Criminal Justice and Personal Safety Consultants, is a Senior United States Probation Officer with the District of Nebraska. He currently serves as the agency's Training Specialist and Program Development Coordinator in addition to supervising a caseload of federal offenders.

Ron is a black belt in the Korean martial art of Hapkido, a certified law enforcement instructor, a certified defensive tactics instructor and a certified instructor in Pressure Point Control Tactics, OC Spray and Firearms.

Ron is the Director of the District of Nebraska Officer Safety Academy and a faculty member of the Federal Judicial Center. He serves as a consultant on officer safety and defensive tactics for the Federal Probation and Pretrial Officers Association and is also a National Defense Tactics Instructor for the Office of Probation and Pretrial Services Association. Ron serves as a guest presenter and instructor on defensive tactics, officer safety and street survival tactics at conferences and academies nationwide.
