G.R.O.W. is an informational networking group for professional
women and business owners in the Omaha, Nebraska metro area. Our purpose
is to provide a forum where women can come together with their peers
to exchange business leads and ideas.
The need for contact, communication and support among businesswomen
resulted in the organization of Greater Resources for Omaha Women
in 1982. Since then, the group has attracted professional women
from a wide variety of businesses throughout the Omaha area. This
diversity in professions and locations has enabled G.R.O.W. to become
a true network -- offering its members ongoing opportunities to
meet and exchange ideas.
Today G.R.O.W. remains committed to the original objectives established
by the group's founders. These objectives include:
- Developing both business and social alliances.
- Utilizing alliances to generate and promote referrals.
- Opening avenues for women in employment and business by sharing
information about occupations, education, and opportunities.
